Memberships and Associations
Priscilla Reeve established Causeway in 1994 to provide rehabilitation services on a private basis. She is an independent occupational therapist with 25 years experience in the NHS, Social Services, eldercare, mental health, housing and Return to Work programmes.
Housing Assessments including advice on structural adaptations, project management and reports for Social Services and courts. The waiting lists for these assessments by local authority Occupational Therapists are currently lengthy, and a private report may be obtained in weeks rather than years. Assessments for minor or major equipment can be provided very quickly, as well as applications for Disabled Facilities Grants from your local authority for property adaptations and facilities to enable the disabled person to continue to live there.
Vocational Rehabilitation assessments involve preparing and coordinating programmes for people returning to work after injury or illness. This may involve organising and monitoring treatments such as physiotherapy or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, provision of rehabilitation equipment, and liaising with Jobcentre Plus or employers in a phased return to work. Priscilla has coordinated over 100 Vocational Rehabilitation plans, while undergoing regular training and mentoring since 2000.
Personal Injury cases - insurance companies, law firms and their clients will benefit from cost effective Rehabilitation and Return to Work programmes.
